Lighting Maintenance in The Woodlands, TX

Firefly Nightscapes was recently called to a large residential property in The Woodlands, Texas, for a comprehensive landscape lighting maintenance project. Situated on approximately two acres, the property featured a complex lighting system with more than 130 fixtures, consisting of a combination of aging equipment and much older legacy components. The homeowner’s primary goal was straightforward: restore functionality to the portions of the system that were no longer working properly.

Over the course of three weeks, with roughly five days of on-site work, our team conducted a thorough assessment of the existing infrastructure. We diagnosed and repaired multiple issues throughout the system, including electrical shorts, failing transformers, and deteriorated wiring that had developed over many years of service.

To bring the system back to reliable operation, Firefly Nightscapes replaced approximately 40 fixtures and installed nearly 350 feet of new wire. By carefully troubleshooting and upgrading only what was necessary, we were able to preserve much of the existing system while significantly improving performance, reliability, and nighttime curb appeal. The result was a fully restored landscape lighting system that once again highlights the beauty and scale of this impressive Woodlands property.
